THE MASONRY BLOCK COUNCIL LIMITED GUARANTEE

Beavertown Block Co., Inc. is proud to offer the following guarantee for masonry residential foundation block walls:

1. The Masonry Block Council guarantees that foundation walls constructed for the purchaser will be free from pouring water, streaming water, or any other form of significant water leakage for a period of 10 years.
2. The above not withstanding, The Masonry Block Council guarantees the aforementioned guarantee for a period of 15 years provided that the purchaser increases the 2B stone to 3 feet outside the drain tile and 12 inches to the side. In addition, filter fabric must incase the 2B stone above and to the outside of the outside drain.
3. Coverage applies to single-family residences only.
4. Coverage extends to the original purchaser of the guarantee and may not be transferred. In the event a contractor who constructs a home is the original purchaser of the guarantee, the guarantee may be transferred one time to the original owner and occupant of the structure within 30 days of the sale of the structure from the contractor to the original owner and occupant.
5. The purchaser must purchase the guarantee within 30 days of the first purchase of a concrete masonry unit. Coverage shall begin upon the original purchase of the guarantee from The Masonry Block Council.
6. Concrete masonry units, mortar cement, reinforcing bars, and Conproco foundation coat must be purchased from Beavertown Block Co., Inc. to obtain the Masonry Block Council Limited Guarantee.

THERE ARE NO OTHER GUARANTEES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THIS DESCRIPTION. THIS GUARANTEE EXCLUDES COVERAGE FOR GENERAL MOISTURE OR DAMPNESS ON WALLS AND DOES NOT APPLY TO FLOORS. ANY STRUCTURAL DEFECTS CAUSED BY USING POOR-QUALITY MATERIALS, IMPROPER SIZES OR SPACING OF MATERIALS, OR POOR WORKMANSHIP VOIDS THIS GUARANTEE.
